Concert Ticket And Album Combo Please
Here is a new twist that makes sense. Give your ticket buyers a “Free” album of the music they will hear at the concert.
Lefsetz makes a good point. People go the hear music they already know and like to hear. So why not give music lovers your album in hopes they will listen and love your music.
If most of the money made by musicians is in concert tickets, it makes sense to get more people to listen and love your music.

Keep The Rebate In The USA
Well, the rebate checks for the government are on the way. Hope you filed your taxes this year one time. It could mean as much as $600 for you, $1,200 per couple and $300 per each dependent child.
Guess what? The rebates are suppose to help the “USA” economy. So, what can you do to keep the money in the “USA” economy and help do what the Government wants the stimulus package to accomplish.
How about these five suggestions: travel within the US, enhance your career with local education options, buy a new made in America appliance, fix up the homestead with a fresh coat of paint, or maybe feel good and help a local charity.

$234 Million Dollar Fine In Spam Case
Myspace was recently awarded a judgment for $234 million dollars. What an amazingly high fine! Sanford “Spamford” Wallace, the infamous 1990s “Spam King”, must have spammed the hell out of Myspace. Even though Myspace won the battle they might not have won the war. Wallace has skipped out and Myspace may never see the money. Myspace still seems to be happy because they can say they won the biggest judgment ever awarded under the Can Spam.

Fox Business Network Looks To Shuffle Lineup
Indications are the Fox Business Network, an offshoot of the Fox News Channel, may be changing their lineup due to lower than expected viewer measurements.
It seems the business channel start-up will be trying a few tweaks to get viewership up. The main push will be to switch the multi-hour shows to more focused one hour segments.
Fox Business Network may have something with a new segment in the 5 o’clock hour, “Happy Hour” to pull more of the young viewers, but many people still thinking of business at that time may be looking for news about the opening Asian markets.
Personally I believe the popularity of the Fox News Channel is it being perceived by many to be more fair and balanced when it comes to covering the news than its competitors. Business news on the other hand is generally not the type of news which needs to be covered ‘fair and balanced’ as opposed to say politics.

Top Earners In The Ad Business Sector
Even though the market is in a slow down the ad industry is still paying pretty good. Here are a few of the top earners and their compensation for 2007.
Omnicom’s John Wren $10.4 million
Interpublic’s Michael Roth $8.9 million
WPP Groups’s Marting Sorrell $7.5 million
Publicis’ Maurice Levy $5 million
Havas’ Fernando Rodes Vila $3.1 million
Aegis’ Robert Lerwill $2.4 million
John Wren must really have had to cut back this year since in 2006 his compensation was a bit higher at $13.2 million. Maybe next year will not be so bad and he can get his compensation back up to a more acceptable level.

One Extremely Happy Baby
This baby is so funny he only makes my eye tear up, my sides start hurting, feel like vomiting, and lose my breath at the same time. Most babies will laugh but this boy really thinks everything is funny. He will just not stop laughing which makes him really funny to watch.

Dad Banned On American Idol From Rehersals
Rumor has it that David Archuleta’s dad has been banned from joining his son during rehearsals.
David’s dad, Jeff Archuleta, was told he can no longer accompany his son while he prepares for the show. It’s seems kinda harsh considering David is only 17 years old. What are they going to do, kick off David if his dad says no?

House To Bail Out Lenders and Homeowners
The House passed a bill aimed at helping the “Housing Crisis”. The bill passed but did not get enough votes to beat a veto by President.
What exactly will the bill do? If passed, I hope the bank lowers my amount owed. I would love a lower payment. Does the bill cover everyone?
It will not seem fair for some people to get a portion of their loan reduced if the banks do not reduce every homeowner’s loan across America.
